Science and Life in the Life Sciences
Krista Kraskura
Research passions: I am interested in how anthropogenic influences on ecosystems effect phenotypes of fishes (but not limited to fishes!). Especially fascinating to me is the ability of organism to reversibly change phenotypes in order to maintain fitness. During my PhD I want to explore the mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity at any dimension - physiological, morphological, behavioral.
Life besides science? - I love fitness, blueberries, all vegetables and coffee. I get very excited about awesome things, and it can be anything!
